It appears that Google’s Android platform is here to stay. And with the newest Android phone from Verizone, aptly named the ‘Droid’, Google is looking to become the top mobile Operating System for smartphones.
Verizon Bites Back at AT&T
AT&T may be suing Verizon for their ‘There’s a Map for That’ commercial, however that has not stopped Verizon’s marketing team from continuing to attack their main competitor. I personally am more drawn to the Droid due to its ability to play background apps, however it appears that Verizon is not wavering in their attack directly aimed at AT&T. I doubt that Verizon will target Apple directly in their campaigns due to the fact that they still want to sell the iPhone after the AT&T exclusive is completed.
