Can Your iPhone Juggle?
Have you ever tried to juggle three beach balls while walking a tropical beach? How about trying to juggle with distractions like a welcoming tikki bar and a pirate ship lobbing cannon balls your way? If you’re up to the challenge, Blabbelon has launched an iPhone game just for you: Juggle Monsters. The next time you’re stuck in traffic, waiting for your latte, or trapped at the airport on a long layover, Juggle Monsters is here to help pass the time.
Blabbelon, which initially launched the industry’s first SILK-powered push-to-talk voice chat platform, today announced the availability of the company’s first iPhone game. Tasking gamers to help monsters keep a range of items in the air while interacting with a number of backgrounds, Juggle Monsters is free to download and compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch devices running iOS 4.0 or later. Blabbelon also announced their intention to broaden development from voice chat technologies into the area of rich, social, iPhone gaming, with Juggle Monsters the first in a line of addictive games from the company.
“We’re very excited to bring Juggle Monsters, our first entry into the gaming market, to the iPhone app store,” said Ed Ikeguchi, founder and CEO of Blabbelon. “Having started Blabbelon as a viable voice chat option aimed at the online gaming community, we think that the social nature of mobile games complements our existing offerings very well. We look forward to finding new and innovative ways to bring the not-so-distant worlds of online voice chat and gaming together – providing consumers a better overall gaming experience.”
Blabbelon currently has several games in development, including a 2D side-scrolling platformer and a pixel shooter. Similarly developed for the iPhone, future titles will expand to reach devices like the iPad as well as the PC platform. Blabbelon’s signature art style and a reoccurrence of familiar faces like the Blab Monster featured in Juggle Monsters are expected to appear in all Blabbelon game titles .
Juggle Monsters is available now and is free to download through the iPhone app store as well as online here.
