HP Completes Palm Acquisition… Finally

HP announced this past week that it has completed its acquisition of Palm Inc. at a price of $5.70 per share of Palm common stock in cash.

Sprint Strikes Back with Loyalty Program

Sprint has been considered a tier 2 network for the past few years, the combination of poor customer service and lack of smartphone variety has caused a dramatic loss in their subscriber base. However they are looking to change that with a new loyalty program that would allow subscribers to change out their outdated year old handsets for the hot new models. In other words, if you are a loyal subscriber of Sprint you can get a new phone each year without having to pay the traditional new phone penalty that other carriers charge.
