Mobi Malls… Just Imagine it…

Imagine if your cell phone could help you to go shopping…I don’t mean “online” shopping… or buying items from your cell phone itself…  I literally mean… What if your cell phone could help to make your real life, physical mall visit a more efficient and pleasant one?  Picture this… You’re at the mall and you want to buy a neon green bow tie.  What if your cell phone could locate your current destination … search for the item(s) you want at all the stores in the mall… and then direct you to the nearest stores with neon green bow ties in stock… Wouldn’t that be cool?  Even cooler … what if the retailers were then alerted that there is a hot prospect in the vicinity and they were given the chance to send you discounts in real time to convince you to buy the neon green bow tie from their respective shops… Talk about a win-win scenario!  Guess what, this kind of “smart shopping” technology is just around the corner — and shopping may never be the same again!  Hey, I don’t know about you, but aimless strolling in the mall is not my idea of a good time.  I like to get in and get out with ninja like precision.  I’ll keep you posted as I learn more about this awesome new technology… and I promise, I’ll be the first one to sign up for an account!
