Mobile Porn… Coming to a Phone Near You?

Well, if the folks in the Mobile Adult Content Congress (aka MAC Congress) have things their way - you’ll soon have ready access to porn right in the palm of your … ahem… ummm… hands… Juniper Research estimates that the mobile adult content market will approach $2.5 billion by 2010, driven largely by  streaming video, video chat and the rapid adoption of the iPhone… As titillating as the prospect of mobile porn may seem to some - it’s not at all appealing to moms like me with kids to look out for!  I’m crossing my fingers that the carriers will opt out of carrying porn on their networks… I guess only time will tell…  Stay tuned as the debate is likely to be very heated!
