My Mobi Diet techniques…

Every day it seems there’s more and more stuff available to enhance our mobile lives …Take my diet, for example…(please!)
Seriously… I’m on this diet… and every day I’m finding more potential features on my cell phone that I can use to help me succeed to shed the excess lbs…
Let’s start with my REAL TONE. Real tones are basically highly personalized sounds that alert you when your cell phone rings… They can be funny sounds or music clips, famous quotes or funny jokes, or any personalized recording of your choice. For example, right now, every time the phone rings, I have a snarky recording of me reminding myself: “Keep your head out of the fridge fat-head!” A little self humiliation in my real tone might be just the thing I need to keep my calorie count down! I’ll let you know how it goes -
I just might be on to something that the diet industry hasn’t caught on to yet…. “Diet Tones.” ; )
Then beyond my real tone, I’ve got this little mobile note taking gizmo where I’m counting my calories every day and recording my food diary… I try not to make disparaging comments to myself in the notes (since my real tone has me covered on the self humiliation front!). But you wouldn’t believe how helpful it has been to just monitor my intake every day! It’s a little shocking to find that you’ve eaten 2200 calories at the end of a day that you felt you felt particularly deprived… and were certain couldn’t have possibly gone over 1500 calories… humbling and sad too… It seems I want more food than my 1500 cal/day diet permits. Boo!
Were it not for my phone - I might have never known this crucial information!
Now let’s talk WALLPAPER… In case you don’t know what “Wallpaper” is, it’s basically a screen picture, background, or image that lets you customize the display of your phone screen. The options are endless for what you can use as your phone’s wallpaper. Since I’m planning to shed my excess 20 lbs once and for all, I figured, why not put a shot of me looking sexy and svelte from my college days when I was 20 plus pounds leaner… This way every time I look at my cell phone, I’ll be reinvigorated to stay the course… Or I could always put a picture of Pamela Anderson or some other Baywatch Babe there to inspire (or perhaps mock) my diet efforts….
It’s only been 2 days so I can’t say for sure if my plan will work… So far the scale hasn’t budged…but, between my realtone, my food diary and my wallpaper - I’ve got a good jump start on my mobi diet and I think I’m on the road to success.
