Netflix Launches on iPhone and iPod Touch

Finally! If you have the latest iOS, you can now jump on the Apple App Store and download the newly launched Netflix app. As a follow up to the widely successful iPad app, Netflix has finally made good on its promise to launch on the iPhone.

And so far so good. The app is a hit so far with users, allowing iPhone users to stream Netflix videos via WiFi and 3G. (Obviously the quality of the 3G streaming videos isn’t quite as high as you are used to).

This move should definitely help increase Netflix subscribers since the service is giving away free trial versions for everyone who downloads the app.

I know this is an app that is definitely making it to my homescreen!
