Our Official iPad Review

After a long wait, we here at MyMobi have finally gotten our hands on an iPad to give you our official review.

First Impressions
- Very slick user interface
- Extremely fast
- Probably the most fun I’ve had using a mobile device since my first experience with the iPhone a couple years ago
- Incredible e-book reader

Many people believe that a device like the iPad can’t live up to the hype, especially considering that it has been the most talked about device in years. However after just about five minutes of using the device I knew this machine was the real deal. From its advanced design and functionality to the great new apps that have been designed with the iPad in mind, I can’t see how anyone could find a legitimate fault with this new tablet.

I especially enjoyed some of the add on features in the book reading application such as a built in dictionary to automatically find the definitions for certain words and phrases. For anyone using this for academic purposes, I could see this feature as very practical.

Also, on the entertainment front, it seems like the iPad was created with my Netflix streaming account in mind. With the Netflix app I was able to watch movies instantly at the swipe of my finger. And with the 3G version, I can take those movies with me wherever I go.

Sorry if this sounds like a commercial for Apple, I tried to find the faults, however I was simply left with the feeling that this is a near perfect device that is about to destroy the netbook market and will be the leader in its category for years, much like how the iPhone is by far the highest performing smartphone.
